WA Police Force Aboriginal Cadet - Probation

Putting your training to the test

WA Police Force Aboriginal Cadets are required to successfully complete a nine month probationary period.

Probation will commence on day one of your two week training, after which cadets will be placed in a police station where duties such as receiving property, taking incident and crash reports, bail reporting and attending crime/accident scenes will be undertaken under the guidance of experienced police officers. Metropolitan cadets will be rotated to various police stations across the metropolitan area and will attend class based training with North Metropolitan Tafe.

Cadets will develop fantastic workplace skills and get a true taste of what it means to be part of the WA Police Force family.
