WA Police Aboriginal Cadet Program

As a cadet based in the metropolitan area, you will develop fantastic workplace skills, under the guidance of experienced Police Officers. You will gain exposure to a range of unique policing activities and get a true taste of what it means to be part of the WA Police family.
Not only will you receive important job related training, you will also attend formal class based training provided in partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE. You will be supported throughout your learning journey and will have access to mentors to assist you in reaching your career goals.
Limited positions are available, so if you are:
- of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
- 16 to 24 years of age (by the application closing date)

Successful applicants will receive a competitive salary of $23,743-$46,104 per year (dependent on age), a police cadet uniform, shift allowances and generous leave entitlements.
