Criminal Forensics

Forensic services are based on Locard’s exchange principle which states that the perpetrator of a crime will bring something into the crime scene and leave with something from it, both of which can be used as forensic evidence. The Forensic Field Operations teams are six-person teams that can be deployed to anywhere in Western Australia; they deal with what is known, fact and physical in a crime scene.

Our Operations Room is the control centre where we receive jobs, assess jobs and decree the deployment that will be needed for a particular job. We remain at the leading front, embracing new technology, practices, and processes as they evolve. Our officers are passionate about what they do and use that passion to achieve results at every job they attend.
