

Honesty- We are honest in word and action with everyone. We act with integrity and do not misuse our authority and position to the detriment of others.

Fairness- We remain impartial and without bias. We act to empower others to protect their lawful rights to natural justice, equal opportunities and equitable outcomes. We recognise merit and encourage opportunities for personal development.
Empathy- We show empathy and compassion towards those in need or at risk whilst maintaining sensitivity and understanding of individuals’ situations.
Openness- We are open in communication and decision, except where required by operational necessity. We encourage constructive criticism and suggestions from others and respond freely.
Accountability- We are individually accountable for our actions and ethical behaviour and for the actions and conduct of others working at our direction. We exercise a duty of care to the community and those in our custody. We use and manage resources and assets in an efficient and responsible manner.
